If I had to go 3D animated, I would say Spiderverse is a good pick but also the Bad Guys.
Okay so....I think I'mma start over on this because now that I have made my fursona I wanna add her in there next to my little green husband.
Just to be clear, while Chance IS genderfluid, he IS male leaning and this will ALWAYS be his iconic and default look.
I say this because I had someone say they wish Chance would dress up more often which again, we're not there yet, and secondly genderfluidity isn't always 50-50. I have had this on his Unvale account for a while now and I just don't Want to give the wrong impression that Chance will fluctuate between clothes THAT often. If anything it's mostly for his performances and a few casual occasions.
All I ask is that people accept him for who he is without any expectations and assumptions.

Alright I will be posting the first three pages soon. I’m sorry I’m not able to post on a schedule or in huge batches but I have been sitting on this for far too long. From now on I will be posting these pages at my own pace. Otherwise I will not enjoy it.
Okay so I do not remember explicitly mentioning anything about Chakras within the comic or in general. Probably can't remember but anyway, I wouldn't say Buddhist either. The system of which Acid is LOOSELY based on is called Chi Kung which is specifically Chinese. Ravi himself is a Kirin which is from Chinese folklore and mythology. Divine Acid is not bound to one single culture, in fact I plan to have more diversity in the world building that can add to how people get their acid, how they use acid, how acid is part of their family tradition etc.
With the Mesoamerican stuff, I do plan to explore Chance's heritage, who he is, and where he comes from as he is Mexican and it's fun for me because I have Mexican heritage, tho according to my ancestor DNA testing I am a lot more indigenous (specifically Mexico) that I presumably thought which is even better. But of course we're not gonna stop at Mesoamerican folklore, tho it might be more prominent than others, I definitely want to explore other cultures as well.
Gonna try not to go too deep into this because I don't want to spoil anything but this is the answer I can give.

Oh but Ravi for sure is gonna sound like Jay Sherman just not by Jon Lovitz cuz I wanna give that opportunity to someone in the VA community that needs it more.
So @acethewindrider.bsky.social, the voice actor for Chance, has told me has has been mistaken for the voice actor for Mark. Which is funny because me and @frenzythebat.bsky.social have been making comparisons with Chance and Jennifer to Mark and Eve. Let's just say we're getting inspired 😉
It's been a while since I've seen that movie. In the canon of Divine Acid, it is certainly possible and MAAAYBE we'll pay homage to that. But that won't be until like FAAAAARRR into the future.
