Okay so I am going to be opening up a Patreon for exclusive content. While I had a few posts on Ko-fi underneath a membership tier, Ko-Fi can be a bit finnicky with NSFW stuff and while neither me or Divine Acid is predominantly NSFW, it does go into the mature content realm and would rather not take that risk. That being said sexually explicit content will NOT be posted on my patreon and will remain soley on Newgrounds, Furaffinity, and my NSFW bluesky account.
So basically Ko-fi will only be for commissions and accepting payments. That's it. Patreon will be for exclusive content and fan support.
Hey guys! So the Texas verification BS has reached Newgrounds. When it comes to my artwork and comic, it is on the mature side but not predominately NSFW which is a problem. These laws do not actually help and they make ALL creators suffer. Texas, being a conservative state, use these laws to target LGBTQ communities, artists, and creators as well as other marginalized groups. And while my content is not predominantly NSFW I get my revenue from websites that have adult content. So I really need you all to REPOST and comment my artwork and commission me. Please help a queer artist out.

Okay for those who are keeping up with this blog, I am now using Picarto to stream. Picarto is specifially for artists so it's perfect. On top of that, it's more niche and cozy AND they allow NSFW which I am not gonna be doing that right away but if you want to follow me, be an adult, make an account, and follow. I have had this account for a long time but I am going back to it because I think it makes more sense.
It's still not the best commenting system but it's free.
I just wish you could @ people or maybe even like react to blogs and comments via likes and what not but...it is what it is.
Bluesky asked for age verification again. I'm trying more and more to get my fans and followers to use this site and I refuse to go back to Twitter. All other socials are at the bottom of this blog. This Blog is just a means of escaping all of that nonsense.
Hey guys, if you've been keeping up with this blog you'll know that I have done reviews on things like Gameoverse, TADC, and Invincible but recently I haven't been doing that. Why? Well because I have been working on commissions, Divine Acid, and another project that isn't really my own but just more so helping out a friend. On top of that I have irl stuff to deal with. Overall if I have time to do so I will if not oh well. I only do it for shows and franchises I care about. If anything this may stay as JUST a personal blog and not a review blog. I mean I only post what I feel like.
Anyway, I want to thank those who are patient enough to stick around.
Okay guys I want to go ahead and remind you guys that I have re-worked my ko-Fi memberships to something more manageable. I will not be including the comic. I am keeping it free but I will build up to that. This is for those that want to help me reach the goal for full time artist.
Hey guys it's me Lord Maru. If you have been following me assumingly for a very long time, you will know that I have a comic. A comic called Divine Acid which you can read here.
This is my #1 priority. I know I have things like a Youtube Channel, Twitch Channel, and all of the other social medias but truth be told, I only upload videos and stream when I am able to and I use Bluesky and Insta to keep in touch with followers. My reddit...uh.....I haven't been using that lately.....but I do have a subreddit for Divine Acid so I try to upload there when ever I can but I am not active. I have not been active on reddit recently. It's mostly Bluesky and Insta.
Why am I posting this? Well I just want to make sure we're all on the same page. Especially for those who are new comers. If you want the most out of my content, you can follow me on this blog, Bluesky, and Instagram. To read my comic, go to the website itself. All other socials are less active and tbh it's probably for the best because I get overwhelmed easily and I just want to do my own thing here.
I use this blog as kind of the main base for my fans from all over cuz you can't trust social media nowadays. So I guess you can think of it as like a headquarters and what not. Anyway, that's all I have for all of you. Stay beautiful.

This document serves solely to set boundaries by Lord Maru, as the creator of Divine Acid, for fans of Divine Acid and my content. Having witnessed the behavior for the TADC fandom, Helluva Boss, Hazbin, and even Gameoverse, I feel that it is important that these boundaries are established to help fans, as individuals, navigate their way through this fandom.
Before I start I want to make a few disclaimers:
i. Please know that this is all from past experiences in fandoms I have been in. You learn, you grow, and it makes it easier to recognize these kinds of things.
ii. These boundaries are subject to change as time goes on and is done so at the discretion of Lord Maru herself. If these boundaries do not resonate with you then you may look elsewhere for content.
iii. Any fan is allowed to take this and apply it to other fandoms if they so wish. Likewise, Any creator is allowed to take this and adjust it for fandoms of their content. No credit is needed.
iv. Fans are not permitted to take this and adjust it to their convenience, use it to excuse their misconduct, or to excuse and perpetuate their bigotry in any fandom. Furthermore, it is not to be used to silence others.
v. This is not to be used to restrict any crew member as they have their own free will and what they do and say is on their own terms.
vi. Remember that this is a guide for fans, not a contract, and is used to help set up healthy boundaries for all involved.
1.You are the observer. Not a participant of the creative process. This means that you are not entitled to having your head canons become canon, nor have the content cater to you specifically. All creative decisions are done at the discretion of the crew and the creator of said content.
2. Voice actors, animators, and other crew members are not your friends. Please remember that you are a fan. All relationships between fan and crew member are to be kept at arms length. If at any time a crew member wishes to block you for whatever reason, you, the fan must respect their boundary. You are not entitled to an explanation nor forgiveness. You must accept it, learn from your mistake, and move forward.
3. Likewise, if a fan blocks you. You must respect this boundary. You are not entitled to any explanation nor forgiveness. Any fan is allowed to curate their space however they wish and by doing so they set their own boundaries. Not everyone will get along and that's okay!
4. Artwork, fanfiction, and other fanworks. Do not harass anyone for drawing fanart that you may not like. Do NOT “fix” other people’s art work. No art theft and no Gen AI. This applies to fanfiction and other fanworks.
5. Fans are highly advised to not interact with any form of rage baiting, bad faith arguments, or any type of instigating behavior. Save your time and your breath. The last thing you want is to lose your sanity over social media drama.
6. Crew members are not responsible for any damages caused by the fandom and are not obligated to respond to every fan or question nor are they obligated to confirm/deny any theories. You are not entitled to their time or their response.
7. Head canons and theories. Do not assume something is canon just because something happens to fall in line with your headcanon/theory. Do not claim your head canon or theory as canon if it is not officially stated otherwise or in the official content. At the same time, do not assume that something is NOT canon and shutdown other people’s head canons. Head canons and Theories are meant to be fun for everyone.
8. Shipping wars are not tolerated here. Do not harass anyone for drawing the “wrong” ship or shipping certain characters. Do not claim your ship as canon if it is not officially stated otherwise or in the official content. At the same time, do not assume that a ship is NOT canon and sink other people’s ships. Shipping is meant to be fun for everyone.
9. Do not harass over fictional characters! People will like characters that have committed crimes and atrocitites. This is not an excuse to do any kind of witch hunting. Likewise, Any crimes and atrocities committed by fictional characters of said content do not represent the morals, beliefs, or views of any fan or crew member
10. Curate your space. Block, mute and move on.
11. You are not entitled to know about the life and/or business of any crew member or fan. What they choose to share is on their own terms. Do not stalk or harass any crew member or fan.
12. You are not entitled to know why a decision was made by any crew member or fan.
13. Do not be a zealot and enforce these boundaries. This is a guide not gospel. You may refer to them as reference but no more. Just because these are written, doesn’t mean it will prevent any fandom shenanigans from happening. This document is meant to serve as a reference for fans to gauge whether or not they wish to engage in certain events, content, or individuals. These boundaries are meant to be vague enough to give fans enough wiggle room to be able to use their best judgement and watch where the wind blows.
14. Crew members and fans are not therapists. While fiction and fandoms are a great way to cope, it is recommended to not use it in place of professional help. Do not use your mental health condition to excuse your misconduct in the fandom, and finally use the right resources to get the help you need. Utilize your tools well. FURTHERMORE, please realize that mental health conditions look different on everyone. It is not anyone's job to judge how someone copes because everyone copes differently!
15. Big name fandom artists and other participants. While it's good to admire someone, do not put these individuals on a high pedestal and glorify them. This leads to parasocial relationships and building a false persona of said individual. Be cautious of individuals who act as the fanbassodor or the fandom voice.
16. Callout posts/witch hunts. Everyone has the right to spread awareness however, encouragement to harass, dogpile, slander, and spread misinformation is not permitted. Check and verify sources and claims. Crew members are not obligated to nor is it their responsibility to repost or spread callout posts, google docs etc.
17. Crew members and fans do not represent the views, morals, or beliefs of the content creator and the content as a whole. Everyone has their own opinion. Each individual represnts themselves and themsleves only.
18. It is not the responsibility of any crew member to babysit and/or micromanage a fandom space or fans.
19. Nobody has a clean slate. We are all human beings and are flawed. There is no such thing as a non-problematic person and even so, SOMEONE WILL make it a problem for any reason whatsoever. People WILL find a reason to complain and talk shit. It is your job to live your best life and be your true authentic self. Let people dislike you and love yourself. Real friends have your back and will accept you as you are as long as you commit to doing better for yourself.
20. Be cautious of those who claim to not be problematic, have done no wrong, and obsess over having the moral high ground. Such individuals are often controlling and manipulative.
21. It's okay to admit that the content is not for you. Such content may not be for everyone and the the worst thing you can do is force yourself to like it.
22. Overall, please have fun. The last thing I want is for people to take the content and work too seriously and be at each other’s throats over it.
Okay as you all know, I am publishing more pages for Divine Acid. This time with transcripts. What are those? It's basically information of text that goes along with the image. It describes each page and has all of the dialouge. Why is this important? Because it makes the pages searchable. Say for example someone wants to find a certain page but they can only remember a piece of dialouge. So they search that and Voilà! There it is! Now, I may have been mistaken and mistook this for alt text for the sight impaired and that's okay because I am compiling all of this on one google docs page! I JUST got done with the prolouge! Now I need to do the next 200 and something pages...hahaha fun.
Despite the struggle, I believe this will all be worth it!

Apparently once you make an account it starts a 14 day trial. I didn't give my billing info but it starts the clock already so I may as well test it out and tweak a few things for it.Also YES, anonymous IS allowed! No captcha, no ads, and no privacy problems. I love it tbh. But this is only temporary until I can actually fund it.
EDIT: Okay so far I like it. The only weird part is that it shows up on every single page. Inlcuding the home page, which is weird......but I'll deal with it. If after the 14 day trial, I am not able to fund it, I will go back to using blogger's native commenting system because, Disqus sucks. I will for sure use hyvor when I am able to tho.
EDIT 2: OH GOODIE! I fucking fixed it! Yeah it was doing the weird thing of showing up EVERYWHERE, including the main page of the website but I fixed it and it should only show up on the actual blog posts and pages. Also I know I said I hated Blogger's native commenting system I do prefer it over disqus BECAUSE, of the fact that it's full of ads and other issues that the average user does not like. So I will be going back to blogger's native commenting system and when I am able to get the funds, I will enable Hyvor because I would love for you guys to have a more interactive commenting system.
