Honestly? That I never gave up. Because I was close and it would have been the fourth time I started over on something but I'm glad I didn't.

If I had to go 3D animated, I would say Spiderverse is a good pick but also the Bad Guys.

Who ever sent me those messages on straw page, straw page ate half of your messages. My only answer to you is that I wish I could write and draw faster because I do have things in mind for Chance when it comes to his genderfluidity. I've also been hesitant to draw more of it BECAUSE we haven't Gotten there yet. Unfortunately, I just haven't had the time to dedicate myself to Divine Acid because I've been so busy with comms, another project, and irl stuff. Just bare with me here because i do have things in mind for him.
But no I get it. I want this too but we are in the seed planting part of the story so it's gonna take a fat minute.
Shit lemme see if I can think of 8 things
1. Dragon Ball for sure
2. Alvin and the Chipmunks
3. Looney Toons
4. Early 2000's cartoons
5. Line art is more from function than an inspiration but resembles comic art
..... Yeah I can't think of more rn. At least not at the top of my head.
I actually have not heard of it! If you can give my the name of the song your a youtube link I'll be happy to listen to it!
I'd say SSJ God. Because 1. I like the color and 2. It's more stamina efficient.
God I would have to open up my Nintendo Switch for this BUT lemme see if I can remember off the top of my head
1. Meganium
2. Crawdaunt
3. Ampharos or Luxray OR Raichu
4. Chandelure or Ceruledge
5. Medicham
6. Corvinight or Skarmory
I'm honestly looking forward to it! On top of that we get Season 5 of Invincible the same year so that's THREE cakes I get to it! I only watched part one of Jojo's Bizarre advantures and a little bit of part two but I love the art style and so far I love it. I need to catch up tho!
It IS intentional HOWEVER, it's gonna get a slight update because the CEO of that company is Inque Penn and I want it to match her look. My art style was not fully refined back in the day.
No worries! Usually my artwork for Chance and the other characters aren't 100% canon unless I state otherwise. Either way you can always ask.
I do not do any of the fulfillment. I currently use ACGGoods and Teepublic for my merch. They both ship worldwide. Link to both of those are accessible on my blog.
It's been updated on the official website. Gave me a chance to touch it up a bit. Keep in mind that this new style is meant to be a tad messy but I can see how Gel's face can throw someone off visually.
Not only that but if you become an official comic, Webtoons doesn't give you a lot of creative control and makes you crunch in those hours. ALSO, I wouldn't be surprised if webtoons and tapas have AI comics [Idk I haven't been on there in a while] whereas Comic fury doesn't allow AI.
Yes they are the same character. At around the end of 2024 I started drawing Mesoamerican art of them and in 2025, someone in the comments called them Cosmocoatl, and since then I have adopted the name. Cosmo is based off of the deity Quetzalcoatl, whereas Danny is based off of Camazotz to which I named him Danazotz.
They basically evolved into the characters they are now. Although that era has passed, these two are very dear to me and hold tons of meaning. They've helped me learn and grow and get through so much trauma and rough patches in my life. I don't think I will ever truly drop these two.
It's been a fat minute but yes! I completely forgot! 😠Both of those fucking apps have a bias towards pretty anime characters and don't bother to push anything other than that. So the ad spam and lack of diversity is an issue!
Okay so I do not remember explicitly mentioning anything about Chakras within the comic or in general. Probably can't remember but anyway, I wouldn't say Buddhist either. The system of which Acid is LOOSELY based on is called Chi Kung which is specifically Chinese. Ravi himself is a Kirin which is from Chinese folklore and mythology. Divine Acid is not bound to one single culture, in fact I plan to have more diversity in the world building that can add to how people get their acid, how they use acid, how acid is part of their family tradition etc.
With the Mesoamerican stuff, I do plan to explore Chance's heritage, who he is, and where he comes from as he is Mexican and it's fun for me because I have Mexican heritage, tho according to my ancestor DNA testing I am a lot more indigenous (specifically Mexico) that I presumably thought which is even better. But of course we're not gonna stop at Mesoamerican folklore, tho it might be more prominent than others, I definitely want to explore other cultures as well.
Gonna try not to go too deep into this because I don't want to spoil anything but this is the answer I can give.
Well so far I have acewinderider.bsky.social for Chance, tycoker.bsky.social for James, and kelatonin.bsky.social for Jennifer, For Aaron I know I want him to sound a bit like Goku, and the rest uh well I haven't gotten that far yet haha. Oh but Ravi for sure is gonna sound like Jay Sherman just not by Jon Lovitz cuz I wanna give that opportunity to someone in the VA community that needs it more.
Okay so apologies for the wait to reply to this because I have quite a bit to say but before I start I wanna thank Acewindrider because he was the one who stepped up to help me with Divine Acid. So if it weren't for him I would not be able to answer this.
Okay so the first thing I wish I knew when I started doing web comics, was to make a story Bible or pitch Bible. the pitch Bible sets the foundation of which your comic is built on. a story Bible can include things like, who the characters are, the lore, story arcs, etc etc. It all helps in my opinion. it doesn't need to be super long but enough so that it helps you reference how the world in your comic works
The second thing I wish I knew before I made a webcomic, is scripting, writing, and storyboarding. I know this sounds obvios but I did not do any scripting, writing, or storyboarding when it came to making my webcomics.I just dove right in and to be honest, it's probably why I had THREE failed attempts.
The next thing is to decide how you want your comic to end. Hear me out because I know there are some people who are like "but I want my comic to go on forever!" and that's fine too that was my initial attitude. However, life is not set in stone and time is forever changing. Sometimes things happen that you can not control. So by by deciding an ending you're making it easy on yourself to know how you want to end the story if something in your life ever happens. Could be anything really. So I feel this is more of a "just in case" situation. you can literally fit everything else in between.
The other thing is, do not post on Webtoons or tapas or any similar comic hosting sites. Stay Independent. Stay you. Webtoons and Tapas are too corporate imo and I just don't trust them like at all. I host my comic on Comic Fury and Newgrounds
Anyway, that's all I have for now! Hope you found this helpful!
Okay so I remember liking the original. Never saw the original sequels. The recent one I like. Great animation, great fight scenes, but the story was very simplistic which is fine as the movie helped Broly fit into the main timeline.
As far as my thoughts go, the original is great, the recent one was just eye candy I'm sorry.😠It was great eye candy though but to me that all the movie was.
Yeah pretty much. It's also the biggest reason I haven't been making a lot of FOP or Danny Phantom art recently. The one's that I did make were either me practicing my new art style on them or exploring an AU. I still have trouble drawing them aside from my Mesoamerican Cosmo and Danny because I often Ask my self if I'm drawing them for me or for likes and views?
And my art is also mood based and I have had a bit of a blockage when it comes to FOP and DP. So I do apologize if I don't draw enough of them, I just don't wanna end up making the mistake of getting high offLikes, views, follows etc because what I really want is just a genuine sense of community but instead of finding it in a Fandom that I have no place in, I wanna cultivate it myself.
Like yes I will always love cartoons and anime so of course that's never NOT gonna be up in my arsenal but when I talk about these shows or make art it's because I want to.
Yeah I have heard about that already. It already made me look at Nick with that stank eye for some reason but that's proably me being a hater due to how Nick prioritizes SpongeBob over everything else.
Yeah see i was getting excited for a good parody but then the voices were perfect which indicated to me that it was AI. Like I'm sorry but if a Dragon Ball parody doesn't have corny ass voice acting i don't want it cuz at that point I'd rather just watch DBZA.
